The Cup

This story is based on true life incidence. The hardship faced by Tibetians
fleeing across the Chinese border to India. Most people walk for days in knee
deep snow cover mountain passes carrying with them what ever little food
they can carry for their journey. This journey for freedom is not without perils.

The movie narrates a story of two boys who are sent to the Tibetian
monastery in exile in northern India. The hardship the boys face traversing
entire route on their way to the monastery across the treacherous snow
covered  mountains.

As the boys receive their ordination and orientation a whirlwind of events
which is not the usual event in the monastery intrude into the monastic life.
The monks are caught in the football fever. They badly want to watch the FiFA world cup match going on then.
The monks are scared of expulsion and at the same time they don't want to miss the finals. So, they hatch a
plan to sneak in a TV and a satellite dish.
